MAKING UP

Siguiendo un poco la línea del anterio post, compartiré con vosotr@as aquellos productos que utilizo, no tanto para el día a día, sino, para ocasiones más epeciales.

Me he aficionado a la firma de cosméticos M.A.C., primero porque en sus salones, te atienden chicas realmente expertas en maquillaje y te aconsejan divinamente. Les indicas el producto que estás buscando y te encuentran aquello que realmente necesitas, a veces alguna cosa más, pero realmente merece la pena dejarte asesorar, te hacen una prueba para que veas cómo los utiliza y cuál es el resultado exacto en tu piel, para evitar llevarte el tono o el producto equivocado. Y finalmente acabas en caja con tres productos más de los que tenías pensado y con un ligero dolor de barriga por ver cuánto sube la cuenta.

Pero de verdad, tienen productos realmente buenos, no he probado ninguno que no me haya dejado encantada hasta la fecha, su precio es medio-alto, pero vale muy mucho  la pena.

PASOS:

PREBASE

Con la cara limpia, recién lavada e hidratada (explico cómo en el anterior post), aplico una prebase, con la ayuda de una brocha para extender el maquillaje, así evito contacto con las manos. Es una emulsión libre de aceites, que ayuda a disimular los poros visibles, controlando los brillos del rostro. Crea un acabado mate natural. Ideal para la zona T. Permite una mejor aplicación, acabado y duración del maquillaje. 

BASE

Aplico la base por todo el rostro, con la ayuda de una brocha tipo lengua para extender el maquillaje.

Las brochas aunque parecen más complejas de utilizar que las esponjas o incluso las manos, son más higiénicas que las anteriores, las esponjas acabamos por no lavarlas tan a menudo como deberíamos y las manos nunca están del todo limpias, con lo que aplicar la base de maquillaje con una brocha adecuada ayudará a evitar que te llenes de bacterias la cara y con la práctica dejarás la base aplicada de manera más uniforme.

POLVOS FIJADORES

Con otra brocha distinta, aplico por todo el rostro polvos fijadores, ayudan a fijar el maquillaje y crea un acabado mate, disimulando el brillo que te pueda dar la base. De larga duración, textura aterciopelada, dejando que la piel respire.

Normalmente cojo un tono menos que la base, para que así no suba tanto el tono.

COLORETE/POLVOS BRONCEADORES

Casi por último, dependiendo del día y donde vaya, aplico colorete en la zona T, o bien, polvos bronceadores de SLA (comentado en mi anterior post), para seguir con la línea de un maquillaje y acabado natural. 

PESTAÑAS Y LABIOS

  

Como toque final, peino mis pestanas con un rimmel de brocha bastante contundente, para crear un efecto voluminoso, de KIKO Milano, muy económico e impresionante, después de todos los que he probado. Por último, doy color a mis labios, casi siempre tonos rojos y granates.

Continuing the line of the last post, I’ll share with you these products that I use, not for my nowadays but for special dates. 

I’ve fond of the M.A.C. cosmetics collection, fist of all, because in their beauty salon, you’re attended by lovely girls who are expert in makeup and they advise you divinely. You indicate the product you’re looking for y they find what you really need, sometimes something else, but it’s really worth let you advice by them, they make you a test in order to show you how they use the products and which the exactly result in your skin is, to avoid you take the wrong tone or the wrong product. And finally, you go to cash register with three precuts more that you have in mind and with a light stomachache for seeing how much is the total account.

But, they really have good products, I haven’t tried any product that I haven’t let me enchanted, until today.

STEPS:

PREP + PRIME SKIN

With the face clean, freshly washed and moisturized (I explain how in the last post), I apply a PREP + PRIME SKIN, with a makeup brush, in order to avoid the contact with your hands. It’s an oil-free emulsion that helps conceal visible pores while controlling shine. It creates an invisible, long-lasting natural matte finish. And It allows too a better application, finishing and make-up duration.

I apply the base in my skin, with the help of a brush; it’s like a tongue kind of brush, to extend the makeup.

FOUNDATION

Although the brushes seem more difficult to use than the sponges or inclusive the hands, they are more hygienic than the last ones, we are not responsible to wash the sponges with the frequently they need and our hands aren’t always clean, so apply the makeup base with a specific brush helps to avoid get some germs into our skin and with practice you’ll get a perfect uniform foundation

FIX POWDER

With another kind of brush, I apply in my skin fix powder; it helps to fix the makeup base and creates all-mattes finish, concealing the shine the makeup base creates. Long-wearing, velvety texture allows skin to breathe.

I normally take one tone less than my makeup base, in order to lower the tone. 

BLUSHER / BRONZER POWDER

 Depending on the day and wherever I go, I apply blusher on the T-zone, or bronzing powders (SLA Paris, I discussed in my last post), to continue the line of natural makeup finish. 

EYELASHES AND LIPS

As a final touch, I comb my lashes with mascara with a maxi brush, to create a very large effect. I buy it in KIKO Milano, it’s economic and impressive, after to try lot of them. Finally, I give color to my lips, mostly reds and maroon
